A colourful lunch

So my friend Rebecca is a tupperware salesperson.  She started just a while ago, and I've been buying things here and there ever since.  This afternoon, I looked up from my 100 spreadsheets open on my computer and looked over at my leftover lunch dishes.  Had to laugh 'cause apparently I've become quite the collector.  I took this pic for her to show her, but since I place all my orders through her I'm guessing she already knew that.  Thanks for transforming all my lunch containers to such pretty receptacles Bec!

Road Trip!

We just returned from our trip to the Kootenays.  A family reunion in Fairmont Hot Springs was the reason we went, but once there we made the most of it by taking our time coming home, camping along the way and spending the last two nights in luxury at the Sheraton Sharples (also known as James' aunt and uncle's house in Penticton).

This was supposed to be a sweet collage of all my pictures, 'cause nothing like a sweet collage to get you motivated to blog right?  But our computer is out of memory (please, how is that possible?) so I could only get a few pics.  Hmm, the sweet collage will have to wait, but in the meantime here's a few highlights from our trip.

~ 4 days with the Charbonneau family ( food, drink, prizes, deserts, badminton, potato sack races, more prizes)
~ exploring the funny museums we came across in towns ( Who's in for the 3 hour tour at the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel?  We weren't, but the 30 min tour was great.)
~ driving on what must be the most gorgeous highways in the world
~ bears and moose along the side of the road
~ finding a campsite with a gorgeous lake and loons to boot, when you thought you might end up sleeping in the car
~ making our way through wine country, and having to quit after two wineries because we'd already spent all our money
~ ending it all by drifting down the channel and laying by the beach in Penticton
